01 - 1 pound refrigerated pizza dough

02 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
03 - 24 slices pepperoni (optional)
04 - 1/2 cup pizza sauce, plus extra for dipping
→ Topping
05 - 1 large egg, beaten
06 - 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
07 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano
08 - Black food coloring or black olives for drawing basketball lines
# Directions:
01 - Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Roll out dough on a lightly floured surface to 1/4 inch thickness and cut 24 circles using a 2-inch round cutter.
03 - Place a small spoonful of pizza sauce, a sprinkle of mozzarella, and a slice of pepperoni (if using) in the center of each dough circle.
04 - Fold edges up and pinch to seal, forming balls. Position seam side down on baking sheet.
05 - Brush each ball with beaten egg, then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and oregano.
06 - Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
07 - Cool slightly, then use a fine brush dipped in black food coloring or thin strips of black olives to draw basketball lines.
08 - Serve warm with additional pizza sauce for dipping.
