# What You'll Need:

→ Bread & Cheese

01 - 8 slices white sandwich bread
02 - 8 slices mozzarella cheese or 7 oz block mozzarella, cut into sticks

→ Coating

03 - 2 large eggs
04 - 2 tbsp milk
05 - 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
06 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
07 - 1 tsp dried Italian herbs (optional)
08 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder
09 - Salt and pepper, to taste

→ For Serving

10 - 1 cup warmed marinara sauce

# Directions:

01 - Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
02 - Trim crusts from bread slices. Place 4 slices on a flat surface, top each with mozzarella slice or stick, then cover with remaining bread slices to form sandwiches.
03 - Press sandwiches firmly and cut each into three long fingers.
04 - Whisk eggs and milk together in a shallow bowl. In another bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan, Italian herbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
05 - Dip each sandwich finger into the egg mixture, then press into the breadcrumb mixture to coat evenly.
06 - Place coated fingers in a single layer in the air fryer basket, working in batches if necessary.
07 - Cook for 4 minutes, flip fingers carefully, then air-fry an additional 3 to 4 minutes until golden and crispy.
08 - Serve hot with warmed marinara sauce for dipping.
